Why have a broadcast ministry?
First and foremost, pray and seek God's direction. Then consider
the benefits of having your own broadcast ministry. Charles
Stanley often states at the National Religious Broadcasters
Convention that without those of us making the airwaves
available, his ministry would be confined to the four walls of
his church. However, because of mass communications, his
ministry is worldwide.
During the formative years of a young man's life,
it was the "Sacred Heart Hour" that taught him that salvation
was through the shed blood of Jesus Christ on Calvary's cross.
Then it was through the "Mennonite Hour" that he learned that
"To follow Christ truly in life is to follow Him daily in life."
Next, staying home from church, a neighbor suggested to his
mother that she listen to a live Sunday morning church broadcast
on the radio. They did. One day the pastor said he was coming to
their church, which they weren't attending. His mother said they
were going. As a result of that special service, he joined the
radio broadcaster's church. His Mom and Dad followed in
membership, regularly attending and faithfully giving of their
tithes and time. The day came Roger Manning bought an FM radio
and thus discovered Christian radio. As a result, his life was
changed forever through the Bible teaching and music of
Christian radio. As a result, since 1967, he has given his life
to the ministry of Christian radio so as to help spread the
saving, life transforming Gospel message of the Lord Jesus
Christ.
Let us ask you, will you be a part in reaching
the Tri-State region of Ohio, Kentucky and West Virginia for
Christ? Perhaps this will be the beginning of a nationwide radio
ministry, as it has been for other MBC radio ministries that are now across America. Please realize that you can
reach people who need the Lord when they are alone in their
homes, in their cars, in their lives, where no one else can
reach them. Let the Lord use you to proclaim the Good News that
Jesus Christ saves and transforms lives, making them worth
living. We invite you to reach out and touch the lives of those
who need to hear the message of the Gospel that only you can
bring to them.
